Prescribing Information
Listed below are links to prescribing information on many common psychiatric drugs. You will need
Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free program, to read these documents as most of them are in PDF format. Prescribing information can be difficult to understand, but it provides the most complete information on a medication. Where prescribing information could not be found, the most complete information available is provided. For comprehensive information in a more easily understood format about drugs for all classes of illnesses, go to
Medline Plus. I also sourced many of these links directly from the
FDA. Another helpful resource from Europe is
Drug3K, a project of the
European Organisation of Family Health Research, which contains detailed information about and user reviews of a wide variety of drugs in an easily searchable database, including some natural medicines, vitamins and even sunscreen!
