About The Author
Carol is the de facto leader of this support group. She has extensive experience in leading support groups with the Gender Identity Center of Colorado, where she recently won the "Sonja's Dream" award for lifetime achievement. She has also done public speaking on their behalf.
She has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder type I, atypical autism, and gender identity disorder. In addition to her interest in mental health books, she is also a science fiction fan.
